Steampunk

STEAM PUNKER, a sculpture created by contemporary artist Zhang Jianlong, holds unique significance to its era. The soft doll-like figure wears a beaked mask in the style of the European "Dark Ages" steampunk aesthetic. On one hand, it serves as a reminder of the cyclical nature of time, powerless and rebellious. On the other, it pays homage to history and reflects the human psychological state amid a sweeping pandemic.
