Wario is a little boy wearing a World War II German military helmet. Displaced by the war, he is naked except for the steel helmet protecting his head. Wario stands with his hands on his hips, his puffed-up demeanor a defiant statement against war, a call for peace. Press the special switch, and he lights up his golden anti-war fairy tale in the vast darkness of the night. He wishes for the smoke of war to dissipate, for a world without war.
